ALONE

I am standing alone—
Here by myself.

Why aren't you here?
You were supposed to be in charge.
Who's in charge now?

I'm here by myself.

I'm paying the bills
Making decisions
Giving away your clothes, your books,
Your chair.

But who's in charge?
Nobody.

I'm here by myself.
